As an archival researcher on the series, I conducted in-depth research and headed outreach for personal archival materials from individuals in New Orleans. In addition, I helped obtain exclusive, never-before-seen footage on Hurricane Katrina for the 3-part series directed and produced by directors Spike Lee and Geeta Gandbhir.
Over the course of a gripping and emotional three episodes, the people of New Orleans recount their past, extoll their present and lean into the future of what they and their beloved city survived and have become 20 years late
